Paul H. Herzog

Originally from the St. Louis area (Troy, IL), Paul H. Herzog graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL, in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
Paul’s career began with five years as Advertising Director at PJS Publications (formerly a magazine subsidiary of the Peoria Journal Star) and two years as an Account Executive with a management training company.
His career with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) began in 1980. Over the years, Paul earned recognition as a 10-time recipient of “Agent of the Year” in the Peoria General Agency of MassMutual, most recently in 2009. In 2010, he affiliated his 40-year practice with MassMutual Pittsburgh, where he continued to serve clients with dedication and integrity.
A distinguished member of the industry, Paul qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table for 34 consecutive years, achieving “Top of the Table” status six times. He was also a 26-time qualifier for MassMutual’s Leaders Club and a 10-time Blue Chip Circle honoree. Holding the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, Paul’s practice encompassed life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care, business insurance, annuities, and pension plans. In addition, as a fully licensed registered representative with MML Investors Services, LLC, he provided a comprehensive range of investment products. Through 2017, Paul also qualified for the American Funds All-American Team 25 times.
He was actively involved in his community, serving as past president of the Rotary Club, and as a member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals, Germantown Hills Chamber of Commerce, and the Germantown Hills Economic Development Council. He also served as a trustee for his church.
Deeply connected to his alma mater, Paul served as President of the Bradley University National Alumni Association and the Braves Club. His long-standing contributions included over 45 years as the public address announcer for Bradley Braves basketball and earned him numerous honors, including induction into the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame (2011), the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame Neve Harms Meritorious Service Award (2015), and the Illinois Basketball Association Hall of Fame (2016).
Paul and his wife, Colleen, reside in Florida and have two children, Bradley and Alyssa.
